On 𝟐𝟏 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗𝟔𝟒, Sudanese civilians rose in a peaceful revolution that reshaped the nation’s political and moral landscape, demanding freedom, justice, and civilian rule. That same dream re-emerged in the 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟖 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, when a new generation reignited hope for a democratic Sudan. But the 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐩 cut short that transition, and today, amid the devastating war, the people of Sudan are once again caught in the struggle for survival and dignity.
From 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗𝟔𝟒 to 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐5, the message remains the same: Civilian leadership and protection are not ideals of the past; they are the only path forward.
